Custom geodome stand for trade show use
When Tausch approached us, they had a bold and technically ambitious vision: a geodome structure that would grab attention at trade shows. We transformed their idea into a visually striking and structurally robust geodome, designed to assemble and disassemble effortlessly, even after repeated use, without any wear.
Our team also developed a fully modular geodome system, making transport simple and ensuring perfect alignment every time. This innovative combination of design, durability, and flexibility positions the geodome as the ultimate solution for exhibitions, events, and promotional displays.
From geodome idea to technical design
We began with a joint session to translate the geodome concept into a technical plan. Using this plan, we precisely mapped out all angles, lengths, tolerances, and load points in a complete 3D drawing.
Geodome assemblage solution
A standard connector wasn’t suitable for this application. Therefore, we engineered a custom-made coupling that:
- Provides extreme strength
- Ensures fixed angles for perfect geometry
- Allows quick assembly and disassembly
- Withstands repeated use
- Delivers a clean, professional appearance, essential for trade show use
We fully custom-designed and manufactured the couplings from high-quality metal to meet the dome’s technical specifications.
After approving the 3D drawings, we produced all components with precision:
- We precisely cut and welded each component
- We CNC-machined all connectors
- We maintained strict tolerances to ensure a perfect fit and alignment
