For the Nike Flag Store in Seoul, designed by the renowned Andrea Caputo Studio, we were commissioned to create a custom retail display frame with intricate angles and a cutting-edge joint system. To meet the project’s unique requirements, we explored a wide range of designs and options, carefully evaluating various solutions to ensure the final design suited the store’s aesthetic and functional needs. This specialized construction combines high-quality engineering with innovative design to ensure both aesthetic appeal and functional safety.

Our role in the retail display frame

We developed a specialized frame system featuring 3D-printed joints, carefully designed to allow the structure to be safely suspended from the ceiling. Each joint included strong threaded holes and screw eyes, perfectly aligned for precise assembly. Each piece of the frame system was carefully engineered to integrate seamlessly with the mount and other components, adding both stability and ease of installation.

Additionally, we:

Cut square aluminum tubes to exact lengths
Numbered each tube to correspond with the joints, making assembly clear, efficient, and flawless
Added specific mounting hardware and pieces to enhance the frame’s stability and simplify the installation process
